Artist Jamie Maclean has been commissioned by council to paint a mural in the tunnel under the Centenary motorway to Mt. Ommaney shops.

Local residents have been participating, and those who did found it a very rewarding experience, and some of us found artistic flair that we never knew we had.

The mural depicts plants and animals found locally, so have a look and see how many species you recognise. Thanks to Sheilah Walker for assistance in this.

Many thanks to Jamie for his excellent work, and for providing materials and assistance to the many people who got involved.

The date of the official opening will be advised.

Note: Members of the community are asked to report any graffiti on this mural by e-mailing Mark Crocker, Community Arts Officer, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
