A DFO is currently being constructed with an anticipated opening in late 2007.

The owners have submitted an application to increase car parking by over 359. This is being opposed by many local community groups, including SPRPA and Windermere Neighbourhood Watch. This application is currently being assessed by the Traffic and Planning departments in Council, and Department of Main Roads, particularly as it impacts on the Centenary Highway.

A parking permit scheme is being implemented in Windemere Estate.
